Marge McLellan recounts her recollections of her family's experiences in Gold Hill. She focuses mainly on her husband, Russell's, family, which lived in and around Gold Hill since the late 19th century. First, she guides the interviewer on a walking tour of the town, discussing the history of various buildings and events in Gold Hill. Then she describes the people in and history behind several family photgraphs. She talks about the men working in the mines and what everyday life was like for Gold Hill resdients.
